There were a few hover flies around yesterday so I thought I'd try capture one in flight. I was thinking this might be easier than a bee as the hover fly stays still at times, the only problem is the size, they are pretty small and getting the correct focus is tricky, I didn't get one clear in flight shot, best one is probably the image below.
Most shots have been cropped to make the fly bigger in the shot.
