I was testing ISO settings today and have set the camera to have a max ISO of 400 when in auto ISO mode (I mainly shoot in Aperture mode). I tried to take two shots of the image below one with ISO manually set to 100 the other on auto. Manually set ISO details are ISO 100, 1/50 sec, f5.6, Auto set ISO details are ISO 400, 1/460 sec, f5.6. I was going to put the images side by side or animate one to the other but in doing so (due to hand holding the camera for the shots) managed to get a 3d kinda thing happen, move the mouse over the image to check it out.
Here are some other shots I took with the ISO on auto (ranging from 100-400, at 800 or 1600 the noise is way to high)
