Miniature Indoor Bonsai

I cannot remember how long ago I received a Bonsai from seed kit. I've tried this before but failed, this time the kit sat on my computer desk for months, maybe a year. It was around early March that I thought I'd give it another go. I opened up the box and did step 1 which requires the growing medium with miniature tree seeds into a fridge for 6-10 weeks so that's what I did. I had it marked on a calendar when the 6 weeks was up but ended up going to around 8ish weeks.

Next step 2 - Remove from chilling and place in a dark warm cupboard and soak every 2-3 days until seedlings appear. For this I added a reoccurring event into my Google calendar. I wasn't sure that this part was going to work as weather is entering winter time and the warm is hard to come by. Bad timing by me. However after 2-3 weeks later and I have one seedling!

Xpera Arc shot this morning when I checked and first noticed the seedling
