Radio came on at 6:20am today on ABC Local Radio as usual and there was a black ice warning on the roads due to the temperature being around -2'C and I thought time to get some more shots of Venus and Jupiter as the skies would be cloud free for the first time in a while, almost since I last took shots of Venus and Jupiter (I missed the best time to get some shots on the 15th July I think it was because of cloud cover).

During this exposure caught a glimpse of a shooting star, shame the camera wasn't pointing in the same direction
ISO 100, 50 Sec Exposure, F3.5, 14mm
Pointed the camera in the direction where I'd seen the shooting star for another 50 sec exposure just in case it wanted to repeat it'self. If you view this image larger you'll be able to see what looks like a shooting star just above the trees to the right of the image.
